Distribution by Movies Plus TV

In addition to allowing Members of this service to post Reels and Videos on this website, the following information is for those of you who wish to pursue exposure and publicity on our Connected Television Network.

The Movies Plus TV brand operates under the Apple Pie Films, LLC network of connected TV channels. We started in 2015 on Amazon with a Fire TV channel, and we now have over 400,000 Subscribers on Fire TV.

Additional Distribution Platforms

We also operate numerous Roku channels. Movies Plus on Roku has about 200,00 Subscribers, and our 2nd largest channel on Roku is “The Movie Network” with about 100,000 Subs.

In addition to these family friendly movie channels, we also operate Badass TV, an extreme sports oriented channel, and we operate several others that target special demographics, such as our “Film Riot” channel, designed for the Film Festival enthusiast.

We stream Hollywood and mainstream Premium content. We also stream independent content provided by filmmakers who wish to leverage their exposure via our Apps, and our Partner Apps.

Our Streaming Partners reach an international viewership of approximately 3 million viewers.

Here’s one example of how our Distribution works: If a musician or band is interested in selling more records, a placement on our live-streaming channels is a great way to get exposure.

We currently use content by XPTV, Rockefellas TV, PopWorld TV, and the 30A.TV Network. Also, we have relationships with many others including David Zucker Productions and companies that produce Music Interview Programs that air on XPTV1 (or) other streams.

All content is available on our TV-Apps. But that’s not all — the big picture is this: When a Band chooses to promote their content via our Distribution network, then you’ll see their music-videos not just on Movies Plus, but on our partner-platforms that also stream the XPTV/Rockefellas/PopWorld broadcast lineup, and the 30A.TV network.

Distribution for Short Films

Our current lineup of TV-Apps support Indie-shorts. And if your movie is accepted for distribution, then similar to the above scenario, we would place movie/TV programming on Roku, Fire, Android/Google TV, and our other TV-Apps as a Live Stream or VOD. (Whale TV and Vewd TV are coming soon.)

XPTV provides 24/7 live entertainment, including several music channels such as Rockefellas TV and Pop World TV. 30A.TV has a live stream and a large audience, including OTA stations.
